Welch Allyn 97200-MC 3.5v Diagnostic Set

Since I graduated from medical school in 1982 I thought it was time I got a new Welch Allyn scope. Although there is always one at the hospital to use, I thought it would be nice to have one when the grandchild complains of ear pain. They have not changed that much in over 30 years and the familiarity was rather comforting. As to the stethoscope company delivery, it only got a good because there was no cushioning around the scope case. The scope case provides padding for the scope itself but I think a little bubble wrap would have been good as it was sliding around in the mailing box.

The biggest perk to this set is that you can use the provided rechargeables or just regular C batteries in a pinch. Aside from that feature, I have to say that you will notice the extra watt of you compare this to a 2.5 W set. I really wished that the set came with an insufflation bulb too, but I can't bring myself to subtract a star just for that. Seriously, this would be even better if a bulb.
