good starter
So, I don't know much about stethoscopes but I do know that I'm glad I got this one. I was excepted in to an RN program this year and with how expensive this first semester is I was just going to use the stethoscope that one of the local hospitals donated to us. I quickly found out however that it wasn't all that great. I have partial hearing loss in one of my ears and it made it hard to hear lower sounds (faint pulse, shallow breathing ect.). I didn't want to spend too much because I was already strapped for cash but I didn't want a cheap one in fear that I would just get another like the one I already have. So I decided to go with this one, not the cheapest but not too high for my budget. It works great I can hear the sounds just fine. I got the Glacier color but its pretty much clear which is cool and no one in my class has a clear one so it's easy to tell which one is mine.
