    The 3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope provides reliable acoustic performance for taking blood pressure readings and making limited physical assessments of adult patients. Weighing just 118 grams, it's the lightest of all Littmann adult stethoscopes, making it more comfortable for caregivers who wear their stethoscopes all day long.
    The Lightweight II S.E. stethoscope is an entry-level instrument that offers a surprising number of beyond-the-basics features such as a tunable diaphragm, dual-sided chestpiece, and adjustable headset.
    Tunable diaphragm technology -- a 3M invention -- lets clinicians hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. This time-saving feature allows the healthcare provider to focus on the patient, while the non-chill diaphragm and rim provide patient comfort.
    Resilient tubing retains its shape and flexibility even after folding tightly into a pocket. Headset tension is easily adjusted for head size and comfort by squeezing together or pulling apart the eartubes. Snap-tight, soft-sealing eartips conform to individual ears for an excellent acoustic seal and comfortable fit. Eartips snap firmly onto the ends of the eartubes and, for safety, require a significant effort to remove.
    Next-generation tubing is not made with natural rubber latex, a benefit to sensitive medical professionals and their patients. And, to play its part in the protection of human health and the environment, the next-generation tubing does not contain phthalate plasticizers.

      Pros: very portable and easy to use.Cons: The stethoscope is okay, its functional but not as clear as the other littmann stethoscopes .

      Pros: It is great to carry over my neck because it is very very light but I could not hear very clearly lung and heart sound w/ $49-stethoscopes. I already lost a ear piece. Can you tell me where I can buy the extra ear piece for your product. Thanks.

      Pros: The littman lightweight II S.E. is a very nice stethoscope. It works very well and so far i've had no problems. I would recommend this product to anyone.

      Pros: I had ordered a stethescope a year ago from another on line store and it was a nightmare. I couldn't get anyone on the phone and the steth arrived six weeks after my sister's birthday. this time around, I held my breath. Stethoscope.com was fast, easy to navigate, and I got my order delivered quickly without price gouging. My sister-in-law has her lilac Littman and is very happy, as am I! I will shop here again.

      Pros: Very lightweight compared to others Very comfortable when worn in ears Less expensive than many others Sound really comes through well. Cons: Worries about breaking or losing.

      Pros: I ordered this stethoscope because I had the older version of the Littman Lightweight for 6 years. The bell was more like the classic stethoscope, which I preferred, but I really liked the lightness of it. For the money, this stethoscope is fine and performs well, and is very lightweight compared to other ones. It works well for general assessments. The shipping was very quick.Cons: The stethoscope works well, but I still like the older version better. The bell on the older version was smaller and less cumbersome. This is one that if you're going from patient room to patient room, and you wear it around your neck, the weight of the bell will sometimes makes the stethoscope slip off your shoulders.
